Title: Senior Design Engineer

Buffalo Wire Works manufactures and supplies a complete line of wire cloth, wear parts, plate, anti-blinding screens, rubber/urethane and screening accessories for the aggregate and mining industries. Our industrial wire cloth division services the sand, recycling materials, abrasives, fertilizer production, powdered metals, pharmaceutical and more.

• Design injection and rubber compression mold tooling taking into consideration design for failure mode effect and analysis and design for manufacturability. (40%)
• Review, verify and provide feedback on drawings and designs to entry level design engineer, drafting engineer and engineering intern in product design, industry design standards and Six Sigma manufacturing standard practices. (30%)
• Perform finite element analysis under specific load conditions to ensure the appropriate allocation of frame and shrinkage bar reinforcement for heavy duty panels. (30%)

Requirements: a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or the equivalent and 4 years experience in the job offered, Mechanical Design Engineer or Drafting Engineer.
